Hello to all the wonderful people who came to my cooking classes when I was running maison de cuisine.
Life seems to take us on interesting journeys and while i am still writing (check out Kem's vegetable garden each weekend online NZ Herald rural) , I am enjoying my new TM7 Thermomix...something I have wanted since a visit to France where I first saw one in action.
If you are interested and want to see how to save time, money and know exactly what you are eating....check out Cooking with Kem and her thermomix on Facebook. I will also start posting soon on instagram kem_Ormond and I will be doing videos as time permits.

Due to a family commitment, I will not be running any classes till SUMMER. Sorry to disappoint anyone waiting to get into a class.
Hopefully by then life will be a little more normal!!
I will still be putting up posts so make sure you follow on facebook, instagram(Kem_ormond) and my website.

Curry and cheese biscuits...crispy, tasty and oh so moorish!!!
3/4 cup flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp curry powder
1 cup hard cheddar cheese
1 cup parmesan
85 grams butter, chopped up and softened...not melted
METHOD:
175 fan bake
Line biscuit tray with baking paper
In a bowl mix flour and salt , add curry powder and the cheeses and mix well.
Finally add softened butter...not melted and rub this into flour mixture to resemble breadcrumbs. Keep doing this until forms a ball.
Roll out about 3cm thick on a floured board.
Either use a cookie cutter or just cut with knife and transfer onto baking paper.
Bake 15 mins until golden and the edges are browning
Remove from oven and these will crisp up as they cool.
Store in airtight container.
Yummy served with blue cheese
