We have received an overwhelming number of messages of support and would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has reached out.

We would also like to offer a special acknowledgement to:
✨ Our whānau and friends
✨ Maanaki Matakaoa
✨ Horouta Pharmacy, and
✨ Trust Tairāwhiti.

This achievement would not have been possible without their support.

📢 Temporary Closure Notice

The Hicks Bay General Store is temporarily closed until further notice due to recent flooding damage. Restoration of the property is underway, and we are working hard to get back up and running as soon as possible.

We are currently working with NZ Post, NZ Couriers, Horouta Pharmacy and Gordon’s Pharmacy to arrange a temporary solution that will bring these services together at one convenient collection point for the community in Hicks Bay.

We are also open to the possibility of a business sponsor providing a 20ft office container to house these services temporarily — this would be a great opportunity for positive community exposure while supporting Hicks Bay. Please contact Louina directly on
021 246 1632

Updates will be shared as soon as more information becomes available.

Thank you all for your patience and support during this time.
