Milk Run Maintenance Holiday 🥛🚜

Our milk runs are taking a little maintenance holiday for at least the next week. ❤️

The ute is having a birthday 🎂🔧, our bodies are definitely telling us they need a bit of a rest, and now that calving has slowed down, we’re taking the opportunity to catch up on some much-needed farm jobs too.

It’s been a HUGE season and we’re very grateful for every single one of you who has supported our little farm and raw milk business. 🥰

We’ll keep you updated and let you know when orders are open again.

Sometimes even farmers need to stop, service the machinery, recharge the batteries and catch our breath! 😂❤️

Had a epic frost this morning so a bit of a slow start and all our pumps where frozen so we just heading out with milk now.

Sorry we have had a couple girls Magoo here and her friend 165 have a real had go of it last night and this morning.
We have made hard decision to postpone
WEST/SOUTH run today ill email out when we will complete run.
Our priority is always our girls and making sure they are safe and healthy.

It's moments like this that remind me why we do what we do. ❤️🐄
Yes, we're running on little sleep. Yes, the weeks are 80+ hours long, the days blur together, and every muscle aches.
But then a tiny new life enters the world, takes its first breath, and suddenly it all feels worth it.
Every calf is a reminder of hope, new beginnings, and the incredible privilege of being part of something bigger than ourselves. We're tired, but we're also so blessed to witness these moments every single day.
Farming isn't just a job—it's a way of life. And despite the long hours, I wouldn't trade these precious moments for anything.
Feeling incredibly grateful for the blessings this season brings, one beautiful calf at a time. 💕🐮🌱

Can I ask please while we are super busy on farm with calving. Making sure all the girls and babies are doing ok. Most days are 12 hours on farm not much time for admin.
Please check orders are correct and let me know if issue. At moment im running 12 hours behind with web page not refreshing like it use to. I've got team onto it.

Calving is in Full swing!
Had 13 born now with 142 to go!
Emily is comforting her girl Elsa that she took to calf club 2 years ago now.
I'm going to be slow on the admin so if you want milk and its out of stock that will be all we have unfortunately.
We are going to have some long hours ahead of us when things get really busy.

Well... there goes the idea of a quiet holiday! 😅
The first little bundle has arrived safe and sound, and just like that the sleepless nights, early mornings, torchlight checks, and countless paddock walks are back.
It's one of the busiest times of the year, but there's nothing quite like seeing a healthy newborn calf take its first breaths and first wobbly steps.
Here's to another calving season full of healthy mums, healthy calves, and plenty of coffee! 🌿🐮

Winter prep well underway at Bushview Farm. 🌱
We've been flat out this past week getting everything ready for spring.
The no-dig beds have had a fresh layer of mulch, crops are tucked under frost cloth, fruit trees are mulched, and the garden is slowly coming to life.
Winter is when the hard work happens. Every bit of preparation now means healthier plants, fewer weeds, and a better harvest in the months ahead.
Looking forward to seeing it all burst into growth as the weather warms. 🌿🍎🥬
