Another Protrack gate install smashed out 👏

Westland Dairy Sheds Ltd took care of the steelwork, with our rural crew getting the gate installed and ready for action.

Less time manually drafting, more time getting on with the other jobs. A handy addition to the daily milking routine 🐄

We will be on site with MSD at AgFest so come check out the Protrack gate and have a yarn with the team!

Another clever feature of the MilkTech CR1 Cup Removers 👏

The multicoloured light behind the user switch gives staff clear visual feedback throughout milking. If cups are kicked off or irregular milking is detected, an alarm lets them know straight away so they can reattach the cluster or draft the cow for checking.

Simple, practical and easy to understand at a glance.

Spring’s here, and there’s a good little SenseHub deal to go with it!👏

Sign up for Behaviour Monitoring or Milk Monitoring before 30 September and your first four months are free.

If SenseHub has been on your radar, now could be a good time to get it up and running. More visibility over what’s happening in the herd, and a bit more information to work with day to day.

Not sure which option would suit your setup? Give Hayden a bell and have a yarn about it.

Liners getting close to change time? 🐄 Well you’re in luck! We’re running a special on MilkTechNZ ML-1 milking liners.

If yours are due for a change, now’s a good time to get onto it. MilkTech recommends changing liners after 2,500 milkings to keep things performing as they should.

Usually $8.49, now $7.50 each for a limited time.
(Pricing is GST exclusive)

Calf rearing gets pretty full on, so anything that can take a bit of the daily workload off is worth a look.

The JFC Evolution Automatic Calf Feeder takes care of mixing and dispensing temp-controlled milk, while keeping track of individual calves and how much they’re drinking.

Depending on the setup, the system can cater for up to 70 or 140 calves, with feeding data there to help keep an eye on any calves that might need a closer look.

Pretty clever bit of gear for calf season 🐄

The little things can make a big difference in the shed 🐄

MilkTech CR1 Cup Removers are simple for staff to use, with rapid venting designed for a softer pull down and smoother cup removal.

A straightforward bit of kit designed with both the cows and the people milking them in mind.

It’s been a busy off-season for the rural team, installing ProTrack drafting gates ahead of spring.

Thanks to the good buggers at Westland Dairy Sheds for the steelwork. Always a pleasure working alongside another local team to deliver a quality result for Coast farms 🐄
