🥗 A salad made easy.

Spotted at ComplEat Wellness — our 250g Immune+ bags have been proving pretty popular!

This is one of our bigger Crunchy mixes, packed with a colourful combination of microgreens including green broccoli, radish, China rose, daikon radish, red cabbage and more. 🌱

On a busy day, this is about as easy as it gets — grab a handful, add your favourite dressing and a few extras if you like, and you’ve got the base of a fresh, colourful salad in minutes.

Or throw it into wraps, sandwiches, alongside dinner, or on top of just about anything that could use some extra Crunchy goodness.

Today we’re celebrating the dads in and around our Crunchy team — the ones juggling work, family, early mornings, late nights, school runs, weekend jobs, and everything in between.

From the dads in our team with their kids — these photos are a little reminder that while we spend a lot of time growing greens, building the business and getting products out the door, family is what really sits behind it all.

To all the dads, grandads, father figures and families celebrating today — we hope you have a brilliant Father’s Day. 💚

And to the little people who keep us busy, grounded and laughing… thank you for making the journey worthwhile. 😊

🌱 “Are we seriously eating grass for dessert?” 😂

That was pretty much the reaction around the table at last night’s Southland Export Awards.

And to be fair… we could see why. 👀

These are popcorn shoots — and this was actually the first time we’ve grown them at Crunchy with a special request from the chef.

They might look a little like grass, but the surprise comes when you taste them. They have this incredible natural sweetness — which is exactly why the chef had used them as part of the dessert.

I was lucky enough to be sitting at the DHL table last night, and once the conversation started, I ended up getting people around the table to actually try the shoots.

The reaction was brilliant.

🌱 “Wait… that’s so sweet!”😅

Sometimes the best way to understand food is simply to taste it.

A huge thank you to DHL New Zealand, Ian and Karl for inviting Crunchy to join your table again this year. We really appreciate the continued support. 💚

And who knows… after last night, maybe popcorn shoots need to become part of the Crunchy range? 🤔🌱

🌱 A little bit of Crunchy on the plate at the Southland Export Awards!

What a great night celebrating Southland businesses, exporters and the incredible products that come from our part of New Zealand.

And there was something pretty special for us — seeing Crunchy greens featured on the evening’s dishes. 💚

From growing these greens here in Invercargill to seeing them used by chefs at an event celebrating Southland’s success is a pretty cool reminder of how far locally grown products can travel.

We’re proud to grow in Southland, proud to supply businesses across New Zealand, and even prouder to see our greens adding that final fresh touch to a beautiful plate.

Congratulations to all of this year’s finalists and winners — a fantastic celebration of what Southland businesses are achieving. 👏

If you’ve walked past our Crunchy packs in the produce department and wondered what microgreens actually are — they’re young, tender greens harvested at an early stage of growth.

And they’re incredibly easy to use.

Add them to:

Every week at Crunchy, we grow and harvest fresh microgreens and sprouts right here in Southland — supplying supermarkets, foodservice customers, cafés, restaurants and independent retailers across New Zealand.

Our focus has stayed simple:

Growing fresh food will always be at the heart of what we do.

But we’ve also been experimenting.

Testing.

Learning.

And working with some pretty clever people to see what else we can create from what we grow.

We’re not quite ready to show you everything yet…

But something Crunchy is coming. 😉
