Cold cold night in Martinborough last night! ❄️🍇

Water sprinklers did their job on our Hidden Vineyard site and protected the vines and all the new season growth. Once the sun rose there were some impressive icicles visible.

Frost fighting season.
Luckily our Hidden Vineyard has water sprinklers which work to prevent frost damage by encasing the plant in ice, which strangely enough insulates and heats inside the ice just enough to prevent freezing of the vine.
