** OPEN MONDAY - FRIDAY 9-5 **

We have a heap of broccoli ready NOW so while stocks last they are selling for ONLY $1 each! ONE DOLLAR!!!

Made this super simple and tasty salad this weekend, grab a broccoli and some courgette from the stall and give it a go

** GREEN ORZO SALAD **

* dice up 3 or 4 courgette, toss in a little oil and roast at 180 degrees for about 10-15 mins until just browning

* chop some small pieces of broccoli and lightly steam with a little garlic and salt

* 500g bag of orzo
* Bring to boil about 3 litre water with approx 1 tsp salt, put the orzo in when it’s boiling
* Boil about 8-10 mins until orzo is soft
* Put some peas in for the last minute, about a cup or so
* drain the orzo and peas well, then stir through about 3 TBSP of basil pesto
* squeeze the juice of one lime and stir through

* toss through the courgette and broccoli
* grate some Parmesan cheese over the top

* can serve warm or cold

This makes quite a large serve, 10-12 as a side, or 4-6 people as a main dish
Reduce recipe if desired

Sorry a bit late posting this week, but yes, we are open today!

** NEW HOURS MONDAY - FRIDAY 9-5 **

We have limited kamokamo at $5 each.

Lots of fresh Asian greens including Pak Choy and Wongbok (Chinese cabbage)

Plus all the usual faves - potatoes, kumara, pumpkin, broccoli, cauli, silver beet, leek etc etc

Have a go at the following recipe, which is so quick and easy, and cheap. It’s my favourite winter comfort food

** Pak Choy and dumpling noodle soup **

* Miso soup sachet x2 plus 320 ml water
* any 2 minute noodle (without the flavour sachet)
* a few dumplings
* chopped Pak choy
* broccoli
* a few prawns (optional)
Summer in pot until dumplings are heated through. Add the veges close to the end. They only need a couple minutes

You can pay up to $25 elsewhere for ‘wonton noodle soup’ - it’s so easy to make!
