Buddy the Sheep is no longer with us, but he will live on in our "Needs of Sheep" Level 2 & 3 Learning Unit forever more ✨🌸💚

The kids were 11 and 7 when they made this, and did such a good job! They'd be given the line they had to say, the camera man would press "record" and off they went!

Mabel is having a pretty awesome summer!

She's a Miniature Morrit, a really small sheep breed. She's tiny enough to climb through the rails in the sheep paddock.

She quickly discovered that she gets more food and attention the "people" side of the fence.

She's a gentle, sweet little soul, and has delighted a lot of people in her short life.

Haha, looks a bit like when our sheep get into the feedshed! 🐑 😂 🐑

Shear mania! Shoppers at a German discounter had quite the shock on Monday morning when a flock of 50 sheep stormed a rural supermarket after breaking away from their herd.

The brazen sheep spent around 20 minutes milling mostly around the checkout area of the Penny supermarket in Burgsinn, Baa-varia, before ewe-turning and seeing themselves out.

The flock's shepherd, Dieter Michler, had been leading his 500-strong herd along a path between the industrial area and a nearby river when the breakaway group made their baa-zaar detour.

Penny said the supermarket had been thoroughly cleaned after the sheep had hoofed it and that all unpackaged produce had been carefully checked.

The sheep and their owner won't be fleeced: the discounter does not plan to bill the shepherd for any costs incurred from the sheep's shopping spree.

Was a digger-loving toddler’s paradise here this morning!

Some large power poles in our back paddock fell down during the last storm. There are two separate lines that run through our valley that supply power to Paeroa, so that if one fails, the other one keeps the power flowing. Powerco are very motivated to get the poles up and two functioning lines asap!

The various crews and contractors have been fantastic to deal with, very considerate and have done their best to not disturb our animals or damage our paddocks 👍😊👍

We’re in full swing with end of year school & preschool visits. It was a pleasure having the Elstow Playschool here - such a large group for such a little community! The sun shone, the animals were on their best behaviour, and everyone seemed to be having an awesome time 👍😊👍
