"I have been using your skincare products for about 6 months now, and just wanted to thank you for such wonderful products. I have very sensitive skin and find it hard to get effective products that suit my skin. I use the facial wash which leaves my skin feeling thoroughly clean without the stinging feeling you get from some astringent cleansers. I use the facial mask which leaves my skin feeling nourished, then I use the day and night cream, I have some sun damage on my neck and I can see this becoming less and less as I continue to use these products. And finally I use the eye cream, I dab it around my eye sockets and also around my lips. I suffer from eczema and when I have a flare up I dab some eye cream on the area and it clears up in no time! So thank you so much for all your amazing products. I purchased them from the craft market in Whangarei. But now I see I can buy online and the shipping is free if you spend over $45 so that’s even easier. So have just purchased my next batch online."

New Zealand winter does two things to skin: the cold wind outside dries it, and the heat pump inside finishes the job.
Moisturiser alone can't win that fight. It seals in water, and that's about it. Winter skin needs actives doing actual work underneath: Mānuka honey at MGO 823+ drawing in and holding moisture, bee propolis supporting the barrier the weather keeps stripping, kawakawa calming what the wind stirred up.

What Bees Do All Winter (And Why You Should Copy Them).
Right now, our bees are doing something clever. It's winter in the Bay of Islands, so they've formed a tight cluster inside the hive, vibrating their wing muscles to keep the queen at around 34 degrees, and living entirely off honey.

That's what honey is for. Winter fuel, made in summer.

We hand-harvest only the surplus, so every colony keeps enough stores to see the season through. The rest ends up in your jar: MGO 250+ stirred into warm lemon water, or our Mānuka Ginger Honey in an evening chai when the cold gets into your chest.

The bees figured out winter a few million years before we did. Worth copying them.

Here's a habit worth keeping: read the ingredient list before the front of the bottle.

Most serums open with water. Ours gets to it sixth, after cold-pressed sweet almond oil, macadamia, and Mānuka honey at MGO 823+, with New Zealand bee propolis and kawakawa further down the list. That order isn't an accident, it's the whole formulation philosophy. Actives first, water where it belongs.

Which MGO do you actually need?

Honest answer to the question we get most: no, you probably do not need our strongest honey.
MGO 250+ is the daily jar, toast, tea, everyday wellness. MGO 650+ is the sweet spot, aged three years, potent but still very much a food. MGO 850+ and 1050+ are for when you want the top of the ladder and are happy to pay for scarcity.
Higher is rarer, not "better for everyone." Buy the grade that matches how you will actually use it. Every jar, whatever the number, is IANZ lab tested and MPI registered (BOIHS2013).
