It always starts with a test ✨

Before a corporate candle order goes into production, I create a test candle first — giving me the chance to make sure the fragrance, wax, wick and finished burn are all working beautifully together.

For custom collaborations, this is where an idea starts becoming something made specifically for your business. From scent selection and testing through to labels, packaging and the final pour, each element is worked through before we move into production.

A little Middlewood, away from Middlewood. 🤎

This week we're in Queenstown celebrating six years of marriage — and apparently my husband can still surprise me, because this beautiful necklace appeared too. ✨

Mountains. Crisp winter air. Good food. A cocktail or two. Time together.

Middlewood has always been about slow living, but not the perfectly curated kind where everything is peaceful and the house is somehow always clean.

My life is chaos half the time. 😂

For me, slow living is about finding the little moments amongst all of that — stopping long enough to notice something beautiful, celebrate something worth celebrating, and actually be where your feet are.

This week, those little moments just happen to look a lot like Queenstown. 🤎
