Proper meals for nights you can't be bothered cooking.

Our free-range sous vide meals are the easiest way to keep dinner simple. If you are short on time, or just want a night off from cooking from scratch, these sort it out.

They take exactly ten minutes to heat up. That gives you just enough time to boil some potatoes, put some rice on, or steam some vegetables while the meat gets ready.

We have done the hard work. The meat is already slow-cooked and tender.

A few easy ways to serve them:
* With mashed potatoes and peas
* Over rice with steamed greens
* With a quick side salad

If you get stuck, meal ideas and simple heating instructions are printed on the back of the pack.

Stock up and keep a few in the fridge for an easy night.

Pork fillet is 15% off this week.
If you haven’t cooked much with it, this is one of the easiest cuts to get right. Quick, tender, and takes on flavour properly.
Whole in the pan and into the oven, sliced into medallions for something a bit quicker, or straight into a stir fry with whatever you’ve got in the fridge. It doesn’t need much and it doesn’t take long.
Good option midweek when you want something decent but don’t want to spend an hour cooking.

BUTCHER WANTED – FULL TIME OR PART TIME (NO WEEKENDS)

We’re growing again at Woodys Free Range and looking for a butcher to join the team.

We’re a small, tight crew based in Levin, producing everything from fresh cuts through to bacon, sausages and charcuterie. We’ve picked up a few awards along the way and we’re serious about doing things properly.

The job:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
- No weekends, no late nights
- Full time or part time options

You’ll be involved in everything from breaking down carcasses to making sausages, bacon, hams and cured salami.

Who we’re looking for:
Qualified butcher, apprentice, or someone keen to get into the trade
If you’ve got experience, great
If you don’t, we’ll teach you properly

We’ve got one of the few Master Butchers in NZ here, so if you actually want to learn the craft and not just stand on a bench all day, this is a good place to do it.

We’re also happy to take on apprentices and cover the costs. The goal is simple, keep proper butchery skills alive and get people good at what they do.

Black Angus steaks are back.

We also have a very limited run of our aged steaks, nearly three months in the aging room. Proper depth of flavour, proper texture, the kind of steak you don’t come across very often.

Alongside that, fresh ribeye, sirloin and fillet are all available as well.

Once this run is gone, that’s it until the next one comes through. No holding stock, no topping it up.
