Hi team… We’re back after a huge coupley weeks between Brisbane and Auckland.
A few days with Mum in Brisbane, looking at houses, getting our current one on the market, getting a ridiculous amount of work done, meetings, driving 2000kms, a bit of R&D, and doing it all with a mix of city and beachside views, not a bad place to do the admin.
Managed to squeeze in some time with a few of my pals too, which was much needed amongst all the chaos.
There have been some pretty big moves happening behind the scenes. The farm and Brown Acres are officially up for sale, which is definitely bittersweet. There’s a lot for us to carry at the moment and a lot of moving pieces, but bit by bit it’s all getting done.
Oh and some pretty cool news… my big fella has been offered a place at Nudgee College in Brisbane 💙🤍
So proud of this kid. The hard work, resilience and determination he’s shown has got him here. Not to mention a little support, persistence and clearly some genetic talent from his mama 😂
Getting to just hang out, laugh, eat, banter, and then experience a Nudgee 1st XV game in the sun.
The atmosphere, the tradition, the rugby, the whole place. Pretty bloody special standing there knowing this could be part of his next chapter.
Then we were off to Auckland for his Rabbitohs pathways week. A few more hundred kms, car meetings, car naps (for him) and we’re home.
There’s still plenty to work through between here and QLD, but one thing about me… when I say I’m doing something, it’s happening, ya ain’t seen nothing like my determination 🤎
