It's been a great week of celebrating our volunteers! There's even a Volunteers Expo to end off the weekend tomorrow afternoon at the Dowse!

We're incredibly grateful for our team, who show up every Tuesday. Without them, we simply wouldn't exist and we wouldn't be getting lots of fruit and veg out across Te Awakairangi ki Tai Hutt City!

Colourful pack, and a special morning tea with our wonderful bunch of volunteers! 🙌🏽

Did you know it's National Volunteer Week?
We aim to feed and look after our amazing volunteers each week with a hearty morning tea, but we also like to take this special week in June to really let them know how appreciated they are! ❤️

We had some delicious cupcakes made by Inara from Orra Baking as part of her fundraising for Starship Foundation, as well as some delicious veges hidden within some freshly made dumplings, alongside some other yummy sweet treats 😋🥟🧁🍫 🫶🏽

Also included in packs today is a flyer for an upcoming Trivia Night (Sat 27th June) to help St Paul's Waiwhetū fundraiser for an AED on site 🏥

I had a very delicious spankopita at Koha Cafe at The Pito One Depot Community Venue (it's on every Friday, 11am -2pm) which probably inspired the choice to include spinach into the upcoming pack - but it's also been a while since we've had this beautiful green 💚
