'Nanny' our 2019 born Kiwi X cow calved a little heifer overnight on Saturday. Clearly out of season but she must have given in on her last cycle in March-April when our bull was removed.
We had been keeping an eye on her as she was looking quite round & her udder had come up.
Sired by our purebred registered Speckle Park stud bull KORP52 Pedro.
Her calf will stay with her for at least 6 months when she will be sold as a weaner.

In the evening, on 1st October, our oldest Speckle Park breeding dam HSP M6 Mandy calved a purebred heifer. This is our 6th calf & 3rd purebred born this season
It was a relief to see the calf born alive & healthy after her calving a full term heifer calf that passed away last year.
This calf will be registered under our stud & will eventually become a breeding dam here.

Our Speckle Park Angus X cow 'Little Girl' calved a little heifer this morning. She was given to us as a calf 5 year's ago to hand rear.
Her calf is Sired by our stud bull KORP57 Pedro.
This means she is 3/4 Speckle Park 1/4 Angus
