Frost nailed our tamarillos. Proper nailed - or so we thought.

Root balls are looking healthy and showing signs of adventitious growth. Will stop digging them out and give them a chance to grow. If they don't confirm life by end of September, then we call it.

🥶 Bit chilly this morning, dropping to 1.3c with windchill.

No immediate damage ro the tams unlike the last one. Sprayed 36hrs prior with a thermomax, hydrolysed fish biostim and seaweed foliar to boost endothermic processes in the plant - or we just got lucky.

Will know more in a few days if the leaves start purpling.

Fruit coming to supermarket shelves via MG Group; juice via the award winning The Limery.
