Its official - winter is here with our first frost.

Little bit of leaf chill on the tams. Will be interesting to see if it does any damage/ early pruning 😉.

Trellis system going in for the tamarillo plants. Will support them into next year when they should fruit (from spring 2026).

Will be applying thermomax and folicist foliar sprays in the spring to boost growth and synchronise flowering. Thermomax also has a frost protection benefit.

With harvest complete, its time to get the big guns in (That’s Us Earthworx) to get some much needed infrastructure delivered.

This seasons tamarillo seedlings off to a flying start.
Growing red, gold and orange varieties.

Glad to see the end of this event.
No power for half the day, some damage amongst the tamarillos and a greenhouse turned upside down the only things of note so far.
Hopefully daylight tomorrow doesnt bring any new surprises.
