Last night was one of those nights - awake at 3am with a busy brain. When I got up I was cranky. I didn’t want to have to do the things. I stayed inside looking at my phone and getting crankier.

Until I finally made myself get up and get out. And this is what the world presented me with. Sunshine and birdsong. What more do I need? Now I can face the day 🥰 ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

I’m so happy to have these gorgeous blooms just starting to come on in the garden. This bouquet is full of fresh Snapdragons, Campanula, Stock, David Austin Roses, sweet williams, Lisianthus and daffodils and alstroemeria. What’s even better is that it will last 2 weeks in the vase. We always get asked “how long will these last?” And right now, it’s great news. These last so much longer than the summer blooms. And the combination is so dreamy 💕

So yes, we still have beautiful flowers available! Not as many as in summer. But they are gorgeous.

This bouquet is heading out to the lovely Jana at 💕 thanks Jana ☺️

Sunday is always our family day. And it tends to revolve around walks with Eddie, who absolutely loves to swim. He had us in stitches today going in after this giant stick. He flatly refused to go back to the small stick. He’s so determined! A beautiful little adventure down to our creek. Farm life 💕

Also - I do a lot of yoga, and I can’t help but marvel at the movement in his spine when he shakes. Starting at the ears and finishing with the tail. I wish my back was so supple!

My lovely Lisianthus are still going, I adore these ruffly white blooms. The greens are compact and sweet. It’s interesting seeing what is still going at this time of year - Lisianthus, celosia, strawflowers protea, and now I have marigolds, snap dragons and campanula budding up. So maybe I will have flowers this winter? ☺️

Well I did it! I have surprised myself by actually having a limited selection of flowers available for Mother’s Day ☺️ I usually run out of flowers at this time of year. It’s tricky timing keeping the flowers going into May 😅

Just a small selection of small bouquets $20 - $30 each. Pop down to the tomorrow and grab some flowers for the special Mums in your life. 💕

Love these shots from Claudia and Campbell’s wedding in March. This was my biggest floral challenge to date and I’m looking forward to seeing more photos. We had a huge storm that week, so I had to pick a day earlier than hoped - and then the day I created the florals it hammered down ALL DAY.

It was pretty epic. And my little flower shed was overflowing with floral displays and buckets of blooms. Big thanks to Rebecca and her Little Growers, Seth and Brody - they provided several buckets of flowers too as this job took every single flower from my garden 😅🥰 I love collaborating with Rebecca and look forward to doing more.

Check out the shot of the bridegrooms boutonnière - Campbell is a farmer and they requested a thistle. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a flowering thistle (and I went searching in the pouring rain) but this came up well. It’s fun creating something a bit different to make the florals unique to each client ☺️

A big thanks to Susan, Claudia’s mum who was such a pleasure to work with on this one.
