We’re taking a small break while we get ready for summer and find some amazing new staff to join our team! ☀️

Our awesome food truck will be back up and running in October in Mangawhai and also at events, ready for another great summer season

Your support, your orders, your full tables, your takeaway pickups and all the love you’ve shown us has meant the world. We honestly couldn’t do it without you!
I know my dad is up there smiling at how much you are all enjoying German food.

We’re now taking a little 3-week winter break ❄️ — but DON’T WORRY… WE ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE! 🐷🥒

The Pig & Pickle food truck is staying right where it belongs, and our restaurant isn’t going anywhere either! 🙌

Tomorrow night, Pig & Pickle is back serving up your favourite authentic German street food—available from our food truck for your takeaways or enjoy the full experience in our family-friendly restaurant.

We have had quite a few people coming in saying they thought we wernt doing it anymore just because we arent at the village- This is not the case at all and we would like to make sure everyone knows we are still very much running exactly the same but just more.
We made the decision to run the food truck from our other shop in Mangawhai Central so we could add on the option of also dining in - to give you an option for a family friendly affordable restaurant experience - reduce anyone waiting in the cold for the winter - and we are also running this every single Saturday. We are so excited and so thankful for the amazing support from our wonderful community - thank you so much
