I know my dad is up there smiling at how much you are all enjoying German food.

Tomorrow night, Pig & Pickle is back serving up your favourite authentic German street food—available from our food truck for your takeaways or enjoy the full experience in our family-friendly restaurant.

We have had quite a few people coming in saying they thought we wernt doing it anymore just because we arent at the village- This is not the case at all and we would like to make sure everyone knows we are still very much running exactly the same but just more.
We made the decision to run the food truck from our other shop in Mangawhai Central so we could add on the option of also dining in - to give you an option for a family friendly affordable restaurant experience - reduce anyone waiting in the cold for the winter - and we are also running this every single Saturday. We are so excited and so thankful for the amazing support from our wonderful community - thank you so much

Shout out to The sourmaiden - Mangawhais best!

There's something pretty special about great, pure ingredients that are made with love. ❤️🇩🇪

We are so proud to only use Sourmaiden Sauerkraut on our dishes at Pig & Pickle. It's hands down the best sauerkraut I've ever tasted and with a dad that was German its fair to say I was basically raised on it but this ... this Sauerkraut is the BEST.
We are so incredibly lucky to have such a fantastic local supplier- Willow you are seriously incredible at what you do. You can taste the love and care that goes into each jar - your product and skill is pure perfection. Thank you.

Thank you so much to our wonderful customers- Each Saturday is getting busier than the one prior . Another great night last night with loads of happy faces, empty plates and alot more takeaway orders coming back this week which was fab.
