Just a little heads up......

We are putting together this year's export from NZ to Europe.

The export we are aiming for is in November this year.

If you are contemplating purchasing or exporting stock please can you contact me.

It's in the early stages of planning to ascertain numbers so we can then provide prices accordingly.

Absolutely Alpaca have had a fantastic weekend at Woolfest Auckland.
I was part of a wonderful group of four alpaca farmers showcasing and selling our raw, washed or carded alpaca fleece — from exceptionally soft white and coloured Huacaya through to beautiful, lustrous white and coloured Suri fleeces. It was incredibly rewarding to see so much interest, enthusiasm, and appreciation for alpaca .

We loved chatting with people about the warmth, softness and versatility of alpaca fleece, and it was exciting to see so many fleeces heading off to become scarves, yarn, felting projects, spinning creations, and who knows what else!
Big thanks to my fellow alpaca farmers and stall holders for all the hard work, laughs, and teamwork (even if we were all running on caffeine by the end!).

And thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, bought fleece, and shared their project ideas with us. We’d absolutely love to see photos of what you create with your Suri or Huacaya fleeces.

Wishing friends and family, near and far, a very Merry Christmas

All alpacas are now settled into their crates for the journey. They have plenty of space and are all with friends. They have been getting on very well while here. The 4 boys are buddies so will be pretty chilled. The three big girls have their own space so the smaller ones don't get squashed. The main group of smaller girls also get along well so they should all have a comfortable trip.
