Seasons at URLAR is back for 2026!

We're excited to welcome you back to 'Seasons at URLAR', our pop-up market of earthy delights and creative finds, set amongst the vines.

This is our way of celebrating the incredible growers, makers, and artisan producers in our region, while creating a relaxed space where our community can come together.

Wander through a curated selection of stalls, sample some beautiful local produce, and chat with the people behind the products - all with a great coffee in hand.

2026 dates: 4 October, 1 November, 6 December
Time: 9am - midday

If you'd like to stay for lunch, we recommend booking a table in advance. We suggest allowing around 30 minutes to enjoy the market before your lunch booking, so you've got time to wander and browse before you sit down.

Please note this is a curated market experience rather than a large-scale event - come along for a relaxed morning of good coffee, good company, and getting to know the makers behind the goods.

Kohei & Tess had the pleasure of attending the Kai Meets Shoku event as part of Wellington on a Plate last week.

It was an incredible evening of kai, culture and entertainment, bringing together elements of vibrant Japanese culture and the powerful traditions of Māori culture.

We’re incredibly proud to have been selected as a w**e match for this special Wellington on a Plate event, complementing the incredible skills and creativity of two outstanding chefs, and Joe McLeod.

A beautiful celebration of two cultures, brought together through food, w**e and shared stories.

Harvest Festival is one of those dates that always finds its way onto the calendar. A chance to come together and celebrate the people, the place and the w**es that make this region what it is.

Tickets for the 2027 Wairarapa Wines Harvest Festival presented by James Henry Ltd are about to be released, with the festival returning to The Cliffs, just down the road from us here on Dakins Road. It is a special setting for a day that brings together so much of what we value, from considered w**emaking to good food, music and conversation.

We will be there alongside a collection of Wairarapa producers, pouring our w**es and sharing the stories behind them.

Tickets go on sale from 10am, Wednesday 2 September.

On August 29th, two foraging-chefs from opposite ends of the Pacific will bring you - Kai meets Shoku - an all-inclusive drinks-matched five-course meal, with Te Matatini regional winners Te Kapa Haka o Pukeatua and Japanese Taiko drummers Taikoza providing the entertainment. It's an epic event that could only ever happen in Te Whanganui-a-Tara.

We are proud to have been selected as the w**e match for this Wellington on a Plate event, which combines the skills of two top chefs - Keiko Kuwakino and Joe McLeod.

While Pinot Noir is now synonymous with Martinborough and the wider Wairarapa, its story here began much earlier. The first Pinot Noir vines in New Zealand were planted near Masterton in the 1880s.

Today, Pinot Noir is one of the w**es our region is best known for - shaped by our soils, climate and the people who have grown here for generations.
