Our much-loved charcuterie and cheese cart might just be getting a sweet new sibling.

We're thinking mini cakes, sweet sauces, sprinkles, fresh fruit, lollies and all the delicious little details that make celebrations extra special 🌈🤍

Available as a dessert cart for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, corporate events and more.

Looking for a few beautiful local brands, makers, creatives or small businesses to collaborate with this winter 🤍
Introducing… Village Collective 🌿

We have a cosy boutique-style cabin based in Warkworth available for selected local makers, artisan food brands, creatives or service-based businesses to showcase their products or services over winter.

The space is already beautifully styled with shelving, a coffee machine, fridge, and welcoming setup. It’s currently used as part of our mystery picnic experience on weekends, but we’d love to see it utilised more during the week and throughout winter.

We’re open-minded and happy to adapt the space to suit the right fit - no genuine idea is out of the question ✨

Ideas could include:
• Product displays
• Shelf rental
• Pop-up retail
• Client consultation space
• Tastings or workshops
• Local artisan showcases
• Wellness or creative sessions

Perfect for boutique brands wanting a beautiful, relaxed space without the overheads of a full retail lease.

What a weekend at 🍸🧀✨

We loved having our mobile charcuterie & cheese cart as part of the VIP experience for all the lucky ticket holders this weekend. There’s nothing better than seeing people gather together over beautiful local food, local gin, laughter, and good vibes.

A huge thank you to the amazing organisers for putting together such a fantastic event, and to friends .walsh who jumped in to help make it happen, I couldn’t have done it without you 🤍

And of course, thank you to everyone who came along, supported the event, stopped by the cart, and shared the experience with us. We loved every minute!

It's been a little while since I’ve posted on here… things have been a bit quieter on the picnic 🧺🥖🍇 🍷 front after a bit of a mixed summer weather-wise 🌦⛈️

So, I made a bold move and picked up a full-time role Mon - Fri at the BEST little café in the area, Pete & Mary's Eatery! It truly feels like being part of a big family, the owners are amazing, ☕️🍰👌and I love reconnecting with so many locals along the way 💛

That said, bringing our Matakana Mystery Picnic to life across Aotearoa has been such a special journey and a big part of that was thanks to GrabOne, who helped us reach far more Kiwis than my wee advertising budget ever could. So I was gutted when they went into liquidation, and it definitely contributed to a quieter patch over the past year.

But… exciting news! I was so pleased to hear a Kiwi partnership has recently brought it back to life, which means we are back on board too offering a great Mystery Picnic deal live TODAY and we can’t wait to welcome you.
And… watch this space for our Queenstown deal coming soon 👀✨
