As we prepare to close the doors of Doug Jarvis Butchers Limited, our hearts are filled with gratitude and a deep sense of bittersweet emotion. It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to a chapter of our lives that has been defined by your unwavering support and the strong bonds we've forged.
For over a decade, Doug has dedicated seven days a week to serve this incredible community. It's been a labour of love, and we couldn't have done it without you. Your trust in our small business, your smiles as you walked through our doors, and your continued patronage have meant more to us than words can express.
But, as much as we wish we could continue this journey with you, we must share a difficult truth. Due to restraint of trade provisions, our dreams of opening another butchery are not possible; while this pains us, we want you to know that your loyalty and support have been the lifeblood of our establishment. You are not just customers; you are our community.
The memories we've created together, the laughter, the shared moments of joy over a perfectly cut steak or a delicious roast – these are treasures we will carry with us always. The Doug Jarvis Butchers community is not defined by bricks and mortar; it's defined by the passion, loyalty, and camaraderie we've shared.
