Our Lovely Lulu Rosé has just been named New Zealand’s Top Rosé for 2026 by the team at The Real Review and we couldn’t be prouder.

A chance encounter with a tiny vineyard near Havelock North, some ‘crazy Italian’ varieties and a Garage winery and a new kiwi style of rosé was born.

Lulu has stolen the hearts of so many wine lovers over the last three years and the support has allowed us to continue making wines that we love.

A huge shout out to all you amazing people that have enjoyed Lulu rosé and spread the word. For those of you that haven’t yet had the opportunity now is the time.

We love Lulu and we’re so pleased that Stephen Wong MW and the team at the Real Review do too.

Shout out to Sam Clark at the Central Fire Station who was the very first person to buy Chateau Garage Lulu Rosé, literally delivered directly from the bottling line in 2023!

The Arrowtown Wine Store has been a massive support to our little business. If you’re in Arrowtown, do not miss this incredible store with its dedicated team of wine enthusiasts!
Spanish restaurant La Rumbla in Arrowtown is well worth a visit too. PJ and her team operate a very slick machine and the margaritas are legendary!!
