The calves are pretty well trained these days and always keen for their daily milk feed! 🍼
They have graduated to once a day milk feeds now, drinking a more concentrated 3 litres each, along with their meal, hay and grass. These calves are all between 6-8weeks old 🐮

In recent years we have begun to focus on future proofing our farm. We want to reduce our reliance on the grid, the supermarket and everything in between 😅 So along with solar panels and batteries on our new shed, we are now catching the water from it’s roof, which will be used as a back up supply for our livestock drinking water on the farm. Our main supply is from a bore and the water is pumped to three of these tanks at the top of our farm. But if there’s a major leak or the bore pump stops working, we now have a back up 💧
