Tironui Estate A small and very select vineyard in Hawkes Bay, producing a single vintage every year.

We are a small boutique hillside Winery, founded in 2002, with our first vintage being produced in 2005. All of our wines are unusual for New Zealand, in that the prominent grape featured in each vintage is Malbec. Grapes are both co-picked and handpicked and are then co-fermented in French oak barrels. Tironui means "great view" and this is reflected on our label, depicting the view from the Vine

yard, out to Napier with Cape Kidnappers in the distance. We hope you get as much pleasure in drinking our wine, as we do in producing it.

Take a taste of summer into Autumn/Winter. Officially launching mid-June, our 2026 Rosé (malbec/merlot/Cabernet) should not disappoint. Subtle pink in colour with hints of raspberry, adding to a dry crisp texture. Lots of excitement around this vintage and already tasting great.
