We’re so excited to be heading back to the The Gluten Free Food Festival this Saturday! 🙌💚

If you came along last year, you’ll remember just how quickly our custard squares disappeared… WE SOLD OUT IN JUST 30 MINUTES! 😱 So this year, we’re bringing plenty more custards to make sure as many of you as possible get your fix! 🤤💚

✨ Plus, we’ll be sharing our love of baking with a Shortcrust Pastry Masterclass! 🥧 Grab your tickets, come along and learn a few tips and tricks!

🏆 A GOLD AND A SILVER! 🥇🥈

We are absolutely over the moon to share that we won GOLD for our Marshmallow Slice and SILVER for our Vanilla Custard Square at the New Zealand Artisan Awards ! ❤️

A huge thank you to my friend Allie, who pushed me to enter in the first place. I honestly wouldn’t have entered without her encouragement, and we wouldn’t have these awards to celebrate! 🥹

Running a small bakery is full on, and it’s so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day grind, constantly baking, fulfilling orders and keeping everything running, that you forget to stop and appreciate what you’re actually achieving.

Sometimes we need people around us who believe in us when we doubt ourselves, who give us that little push to put ourselves out there and remind us that what we’re doing is worth celebrating. ❤️ Sometimes we’re doing better than we give ourselves credit for! 🥰

🎄 WE WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU THINK! 🎄

With Christmas getting closer, we’re thinking about opening the Sweet as Choice Bakery shop on MONDAYS, on top of already opening Tuesday and Wednesday 10am till 2pm, and Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10am till 4pm, for the lead up to Christmas, most likely starting November! 👀

The idea would be:
🕙 Mondays | 10am – 2pm
🛍️ Shop open for walk-ins
🎂 Pick-up orders available too

We know Christmas time gets BUSY, and we’re wondering if having an extra day to grab your favourite Kiwi classics, Christmas treats, catering or pick-up orders would be helpful! ❤️

So tell us… would you use a Monday opening? 👇

We’ll be bringing along plenty of Sweet as Choice favourites, so come and say hi, grab some treats and enjoy a weekend full of coffee and chocolate! 🤎

PLEASE NOTE: Our New Lynn shop will have shortened hours on Saturday 26 September as we head off to the festival 🕙 Saturday 26 September 10am - 2pm. So if you’re planning to pop into the shop on Saturday, make sure you get in before 2pm!
