We started this job by running a on-site photometer test to see exactly what we were dealing with. The results showed elevated nitrates, a real concern for pregnant mums and bottle-fed infants.
Rather than guessing, testing on-site meant we could engineer a dedicated multi-stage underbench setup tailored specifically to their water profile:
20-Micron Washable Sediment: Catches the coarse grit, rust, and silt to keep the fine cartridges from clogging up early.
1-Micron Sediment: Pulls out fine suspended solids and clarifies the water for the UV stage.
Specialised Nitrate Filter: Dedicated resin cartridge designed specifically to strip out dissolved nitrates.
0.5-Micron Carbon Block: Tackles chlorine, off-tastes, odours, and acts as a physical barrier against cysts like Giardia and Cryptosporidium.
Underbench UV Steriliser: The final safeguard-zaps 99.9% of bacteria and pathogens without adding any chemicals.
Tucked away neatly under the sink without losing usable cupboard space, giving the family clean drinking water right from the tap.
