Not a bad spot - and what a cracker day it was! ☀️

The “quiet time” on the farm… when all the projects go into overdrive and hang over your head for the rest of the season! To be fair we’ve managed to keep the projects to a minimum and focused on track maintenance and prep for the new staff house. We’ve also managed to sneak in a family holiday, some learning and onboarding of a new team. 😎

And just like that we’re at the start of a new season!

Last week we got the cows all dried off. Greg who has been with us for 7 years is moving onto new adventures. We appreciate all he has done with us in a time that we feel like we were all growing up together! And Brooke our Australian backpacker has some new skills that she can add to her kiwi travel experiences. A big thank you to all our staff over the past 12 months. 🙌🏻

Young stock ✔️✔️✔️
Transitioning onto fodder beet and teat sealing has been a success. Also weighed and drenched the calves over the river at the grazing block.

It’s hard not to be work inspired after spending a couple of days off farm. We enjoyed catching up with friends and meeting some new ones. Thanks for jumping over the ditch FOA!
