Tears this morning at assembly when my beautiful girl got this award, she has struggled to go to school for a long time now, but she set herself a challenge to show up this term, face her fears and I am so proud of her. Something that I tell my daughters all the time and it is a good reminder to all……
Success isn’t measured in how well you do at your school work, your grades, what level of reading or writing or maths you are at. Success is happiness, success is showing up, being a kind person, and success is pushing through your challenges, you can win at everything in life, have the perfect body or be wealthy, but it’s not these things that build a beautiful happy human, if you can master the art of happiness, love, kindness and resilience then you have won in life, these are the skills our children need to learn. They are enough 💛
