I think I must be a terrible farmer - I get too attached to the animals, moving them everyday, talking to them, walking amongst them (you have your favourites of course but when you breed for temperament they’re all pretty lovely) - so trucking days are always the hardest for me - I’m probably too soft - but at least you can be sure that what is produced on our farm has been well cared for - good nutrition, minerals, gentle handling and minimal interventions
