CABLE BAY SYRAH 2021 — WAIHEKE ISLAND

Refined, expressive, and quietly powerful, our 2021 Syrah captures the essence of Waiheke’s coastal terroir with precision and elegance.

Awarded 95 Points GOLD by Cameron Douglas MS, alongside 93 points from The Real Review and 92 points from James Suckling, this vintage is a compelling expression of both place and craftsmanship.

Layered aromatics of dark berries, plum, dried florals, and pepper unfold into notes of violet, clove, and subtle mineral complexity. The palate is finely structured, with silky tannins and poised concentration, leading to a long, harmonious finish.

A wine of balance and restraint, offering immediate appeal while promising graceful evolution through 2026–2031+.
