Anne and I were sad to say goodbye today to our wonderful French helper F***y Chrismann. We've had her help for the last 3 months over our nut harvesting season, and what a wonderful person she is. Loads of initiative, get up and go, and curiousity.....what a find. Enjoy your next adventure F***y!

Drying macadamia nuts properly is one of the secrets to producing the creamy crunchy yummy nuts you've grown to love when you order from us. Here we see a batch being taken out of our drying room today to make way for the next harvest.

Our wonderful French worker is normally chatty, but she's decidedly hoarse today on the de-husking machine. Sign language only. Apparently it was a very big weekend in Hamilton with all the Whakatane French people supporting their team against the All Blacks...
