The Ripple Effect of Kindness – Thank You Reg! 🍊

A huge thank you to Reg H from Orewa for his incredible generosity and for sharing not one, but two beautiful varieties of oranges with our community. 💛

Over the past four weeks, Reg’s orange trees have provided approximately 120kg of fresh oranges — a wonderful contribution that has helped us continue our mission of reducing waste and sharing surplus produce with those who need it most. 🍊

It is people like Reg who remind us that small acts of kindness create a much bigger ripple effect. Whether it’s a bag of fruit, a few hours of time, or simply offering what we have available — every contribution matters.

🍋🍊 A huge thank you to Rod from Red Beach! 💚

Over the past month, Rod has generously donated an abundance of mandarins and lemons to The Pickers, and it has been an absolute pleasure harvesting and collecting them. We’re also looking forward to collecting even more lemons in the coming weeks! 🌳

Every piece of fruit has gone on to make a difference, with donations being shared through the Hibiscus Coast Salvation Army and Love Soup, helping provide fresh produce to people in our local community who need it most. ❤️
