One of our favourite things is seeing what you do with our products once it leaves our bakery: the pizzas, the sandwiches you make, the breakfasts you put together, the treats you share.

As a small business, word of mouth and social media have been such a big part of helping people discover us, both in our community and beyond. Every post, story, tag and recommendation means more than you probably realise.

Our new Romeo merch just arrived 🥹

We collaborated with local illustrator L. (thank you for the intro Suia Westbrook (she/her) CoastLab ) and gave her a simple brief: a day at Romeo.

She captured two little scenes from our world — the outside of the bakery, now on our T-shirts, and the inside, featured on our new tote bags.

They arrived today, just in time for Father’s Day. So if you’re still looking for a little something for Dad (or for yourself), they’ll be in store from tomorrow.

We’ve recently switched up our recipe too, now made with wholemeal spelt for a deliciously soft, nutty bun with a little extra goodness.

Sometimes after a busy day at work, the last thing we feel like doing is cooking dinner. 🍕

So we grab a pizza base from the bakery, open the fridge, and see what we’ve got.

This one got Ristoris artichokes from the shop pantry, sun-dried tomatoes, capers and, of course, mozzarella. A generous drizzle of IGP Olio di Puglia around the crust for that extra crispy edge + all that beautiful olive oil flavour.

10 minutes to put it together, 5 minutes in the oven, and dinner is sorted.

Crispy, flavourful, filling… and Romeo approved.

Proof that a good pizza base and a few good things in the fridge can save dinner.

Okay, so… this reel was supposed to go out last Thursday 🙃 But last week got a little busy, so we accidentally soft-launched the Pistachio Latte instead.

Some of you have already tried it, and now we’re officially making it a thing. 💚

Some flavours don’t need much to make an impression. 🍅🫒

Our Focaccia Barese is all about the beauty of simplicity: golden olive oil, ripe tomatoes, green olives, and that wonderfully soft, airy focaccia.

Inspired by our very special friend from Bari, this limited edition is our little homage to Puglia: simple, generous, unmistakably Italian, and seriously delicious.

We’ll be baking it again this Saturday, in limited quantities.

Our Seeded Sourdough!

Three seeds, one very wholesome loaf: pumpkin, chia + sunflower seeds, all activated before they make their way into the dough.

🌱 Pumpkin seeds — rich in magnesium, zinc and plant-based protein, supporting energy, immunity and overall wellbeing.

🌱 Chia seeds — packed with fibre, omega-3 fatty acids and minerals. They also absorb water, helping add moisture and texture to the bread.

🌻 Sunflower seeds — a source of vitamin E, healthy fats, magnesium and plant-based protein.

And what does “activated” mean?
We soak the seeds before adding them to the dough. This softens them, makes them easier to digest and allows them to become more nutritionally available. It also means they become beautifully plump and tender throughout the loaf.

Combined with our 48-hour fermentation, you get a seeded sourdough that’s hearty, nutritious and full of texture, with a generous handful of goodness in every slice.

Our Wholemeal Sandwich Loaf is now made with wholemeal spelt flour, an ancient variety of wheat cultivated for thousands of years.

Spelt brings a lovely nutty flavour, plenty of wholegrain goodness and an even more delicious loaf. Soft enough for sandwiches, sturdy enough for toast, and better than ever.
