A little upgrade 🤍

After months of trying to find the right sizes, hand-stamping every bag one by one, and learning what works (and what doesn’t), we decided it was time to create packaging that feels truly like us.

Our new custom packaging is simple, thoughtful, and made to reflect the care that goes into everything we bake. From our organic sourdough to our pastries, every detail matters to us… and now the packaging tells that story too.

We hope you love it as much as we do!

A big congratulations to our friends at 𝗙𝗜𝗡 Fish Butchery and Seafood | Ōrewa on the opening of their fish & chips shop! 🎣🐟

We’ve always loved pairing our sourdough with their incredible seafood, whether it’s a smoked salmon focaccia sandwich, our pane rustico topped with salmon rillette, or ciabatta with fresh ika mata. And now, you have the option to get our sourdough burger bun when you order their burger.

Not your average ciabatta.

Our classic Italian-style ciabatta is naturally leavened with sourdough and made with a very high-hydration dough, giving it a light, airy crumb and incredible flavour.

Because of its moisture content, it doesn’t develop the thick crust of a traditional country/rustic sourdough, and that’s exactly what makes it such a great sandwich bread. Soft enough to bite into, yet sturdy enough to hold all the good stuff.

Available as a loaf, stick, or ciabattina roll.

No, we’re not selling produce 🍋🍅

If you’ve been into the bakery lately, you may have spotted these incredibly realistic candles and done a double take.

They’re made by the talented Kathryn from , whose work is so lifelike that people regularly mistake them for the real thing.

Kathryn and I first met when she attended one of my perfume workshops. (A little-known fact about me: before bakeries and bread, I worked in fashion and also studied perfumery in France and still love creating custom scents whenever I get the chance.)

It’s been so special watching Kathryn grow her business and craft, and we’re thrilled to now stock a selection of her beautiful candles in the bakery.

Our seeded sourdough is made with activated pumpkin, sunflower and chia seeds. “Activated” you ask? What does it mean?

Well, a small extra step that makes a big difference.

Before they’re folded into the dough, the seeds are soaked and activated to help break down phytic acid, making nutrients easier for the body to absorb and improving digestibility. It also helps unlock more flavour and gives the loaf a softer, more balanced texture.

Good bread takes time, and for us, every ingredient deserves the same care and attention as the fermentation itself.

Our cornetto al dulce de leche is probably the perfect reflection of us… a little bit Italian, a little bit Latin. 🤎

You won’t really find dulce de leche inside a traditional Italian cornetto, but for both me and Di, it’s one of those flavours deeply tied to childhood memories. Growing up in Latin culture, dulce de leche was everywhere: spread on bread, inside pastries, eaten by the spoon straight from the jar. Originally, it was also a way of preserving milk by slowly cooking it down with sugar into something rich, caramelised and comforting.

So we thought… why not bring those memories into one of our favourite Italian pastries? The buttery layers of the cornetto with the silky sweetness of dulce de leche just make sense together.

A little meeting of our two worlds, baked into one pastry 🥐
