Romeo made it into Denizen guide to Auckland’s best bakeries!!!!! 🤎

We do this because we love it, but being recognised like this feels pretty special.

And we have you to thank, too. So many of you tagged us in previous guides, putting our little bakery on their radar. Thank you for showing up, spreading the word and cheering us on.

And thank you, Denizen, for including us. This means a lot to our family-owned small business!

A little Halloween magic in a cup. 🎃☁️

Our Halloween special: a cosy spiced pumpkin latte topped with silky vanilla cold foam. Sweet, spiced, creamy and just a little indulgent.

One of Di’s creations, inspired by one of his all-time favourite dishes: pasta carbonara. 🇮🇹

He makes his own carbonara sauce, layers it with bacon, rolls it all up and finishes with cheese and one more piece of bacon on top. Because why not?

The result? A savoury, cheesy, ridiculously delicious scroll.

Mocha, but make it white chocolate. 🤍

We make our own chocolate ganache for our classic mocha, and the other day we thought… why not make a white chocolate version too?

So we did. And it’s ridiculously good.

Rich espresso, our house-made white chocolate ganache and silky milk. Creamy, indulgent and just the right amount of sweet.

Your new coffee obsession? Quite possibly.

Fluffy sourdough focaccia topped with provolone, roasted capsicum and our delicious pimento sauce. A little sweet, a little smoky, very cheesy and seriously good.

A little spooky, a lot delicious. 🎃

Our new Spiced Pumpkin Sourdough is here to celebrate Halloween! Made with pumpkin and warming spices, and finished with some Halloween-inspired scoring by Di, who clearly understood the assignment.

Almost too pretty to slice. Almost.

Available for a limited time at Romeo 🧡

After the love for our Salted Caramel, Dark Chocolate & Hazelnut cookie, we thought it was time for a new one!

Meet Orange, Almond & Fig: citrusy, nutty, a little fruity and very delicious. The kind of combination that just works.

We’re baking these in small batches twice a week, usually Tuesdays & Thursdays, so if you see them on the counter, you know what to do.

Starting the week the only way we know how: properly caffeinated 🤎
