This is Peter. Many of you will recognise him from the photocopy shop here in Ōtara always there, always helpful.
After 8 years in Ōtara and more than 20 years serving South Auckland, Peter recently had to close his shop. Rising costs and fewer customers made it too hard to keep going. In his words, “it’s too expensive now, I can’t afford to keep going.”
That’s the hard reality for many of our local businesses right now.
But Peter hasn’t given up. He’s still showing up and now running his business from the boot of his car at the markets. Same services, same heart, just a different setup. Cutting keys, passport photos, photocopying, he’s still there doing what he can to keep going. We’ve used Peter’s services many times over the years.
