Hey everyone,
I just wanted to say a really big thank you for the last 18months. I am so grateful to everyone who has visited the trailer, I am genuinely chuffed that people want to stop by for a bite to eat!
But to my regulars especially, the support is everything. Small town support is unmatched!
It’s a tricky job, the hours alone on a trading day are insane. Cooking outdoors with changes in temperature and humidity is also challenging, so I’ve learnt to adapt my recipes depending on the weather.
But I tell you what, if someone compliments something I have cooked, all of the effort is 100% worth it.
I will be closed for about 14months. The great thing about maternity leave for me, apart from not getting up at 2am to start work, is that I never actually stop cooking 😂. I am mildly obsessed with creating my own recipes so I always find time to work on them. Sleep deprivation doesn’t seem to affect the amount of time I spend in the kitchen!
I will re-open a few days a week again end (ish) of next year, and then it will be time to dive into sandwiches 🥪
