Pleasing week, we said goodbye to V16 (lot 1 of 2025 Timperlea catulogue) back to Xcell to get semen taken again for Semex.

Manage to get some oats and grass planted, all this year spring catalogue out in mailboxes, spring has finally sprung, if your mailbox is looking for a catalogue let us know.

Last week, we got all our service bulls Tb tested, all clear. We welcomed the rain, thank you to Mikaela Fitzpatrick from ospiri for making the process easy in the weather.

Happy daffodil day! Today we got a new team member, as farmers we often celebrate and see new life. Been thinking a lot today while dressing the kids for daffodil day, how many amazing people we known who have had cancer. 1 in 3 people in New Zealand will be diagnosed with cancer. Many beat the disease. Although it still takes a few great ones. One of our longest team members Russell was unfortunately taken before his time. August 2021. Russell's projects he build with his own hands are still being used. We still fondly remember him dearly and regularly. Lucky to have worked with amazing people

Bulls got put through their paces today, Semen testing with Xcell Breeding Services Ltd. Many hands... Bulls are starting to make some good weight gains now, and will be more than ready for work.

Just like that within the week we have 50calves. Due to start calving next week but the girls have been making the most of the weather.

Mr Mat, came to muscle scan the bulls we also weighed and measured their scrotal size. Starting the culling process for the W line of bulls. So only the best will make it through for our line up in October.
