Northland tours last day!! Amazing group of breeders, no rain stop
Us seeing some good cattle, photos quality not so good with rain spots but you get the idea. Lomond Angus, Puketi Angus and Hokianga Angus. Team was please for mum to get home.

Second day tour around up in Northland was Jam packed with all the goods and more...Starting with helical session, follow by visiting Alpine Angus, with a Gallagher E shepherd presentation. Also the data upload options for minda and angusnz for our data.(very exciting!!) Also if anyone is looking for awesome calf scale steve Herries is the man to ask.
Second stop, Waitangi Angus with lunch in there wedding venue beautifully cooked by Silver Fern farms. Tour of the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. This was a incredible day. Which hadn't ended there we then headed off to dinner with the Generation Angus auction

Back on 2nd February Weaning time, we collected weights and temp score on all the offspring. We collected weights, body condition scores, structural foot scores on all dams (thanks Ross McDonald) we also scanned both mix age dams and heifers.
We had 97.5% scan in calf. This year take to our sync program was back on previous years 71% mix age cows, 52% in our heifers take to ai. Our cows who had first round with bulls not ai were 75% take to to first round.
