Little River Jerseys

Little River Jerseys 300 cow pedigree jersey stud. Little River Jersey's is milked on a 114ha family owned and operated farm situated on the Hauraki Plains.

In 1999 Murray and Angela Brewster established & registered The Little River Jersey herd after purchasing cows & young stock from several notable jersey studs. The herd annually produces 400 MS/cow on a grass based system. Young stock are grazed on a 27ha support block. In 2006 eldest son Philip (with wife Janna and their two sons Jonathan & William) joined his parents in the running of the farm.

Over the years we have become very aware of the value of strong cow families for both top production and consistent conformation. We are keen enthusiasts who wish to progress in developing the jersey breed to better the dairy industry.
