While the bulls are heading out to farms across New Zealand, we're already thinking about the next ones.

The nature of a breeding programme is that it never really stops. The calves on the ground right now are all candidates for our yearling sale in September, or they will be carried through to the 2 year old sale in 2027.

And just like that, it's back to the day job.

The bull sale is the day everything comes together, but the work that matters most happens in the weeks and months either side of it. Making the small daily decisions that shape what turns up in the yards on sale day.

There's something grounding about getting back to the rhythm of farming after the sale.

What a day. Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who made the trip to the Bay of Islands yesterday. It means everything to have you here on farm, walking through the bulls, asking questions, and supporting what we do. Our two year old sale is a day we work towards all year and having a full yard makes it all worthwhile.

We love that technology means distance is no barrier, so thanks to those who joined us online and bid from afar.

And to the incredible group of people who roll up their sleeves and make sale day actually happen... The day doesn't come together without a team of people who give their time and energy without hesitation. We couldn't do it without you!

We can't wait to see what our bulls do in the herds of new clients, and the continued support and loyalty of our returning clients gives us great pride in our program.
