What a day. What. A. Day.

Despite the rain, the grey skies, and every reason to stay tucked up at home, you all showed up in full force for the Philippine Independence Day Commemoration yesterday. 🇵🇭✨

To everyone who stopped by our stall, bought a dessert, recommended us to a friend, shared our posts, patiently waited in line, or simply came over to say hello, thank you! We are incredibly grateful.

After being away for a few weeks while settling into our new home and kitchen, we honestly didn’t know what to expect. But the love and support you gave us yesterday was overwhelming in the best possible way.

You cleared us out.

The cakes sold out.
The Dubai Chewy Cookies sold out.
The desserts sold out.
Even the Halo-Halo sold out! 😭🥹

Seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new customers, and hearing stories about how long you’ve been waiting for our treats reminded us exactly why we love doing what we do.

Yesterday felt like more than just a market. It felt like a warm welcome back.

To the organisers, volunteers, performers, fellow vendors, and the entire Filipino community who made the event such a success – thank you for creating a space that celebrates our culture, our food, and our community so beautifully.

Maraming salamat, Auckland. We couldn’t have asked for a better comeback.

🇵🇭 WE’RE BACK! 🇵🇭

After such an unforgettable time last year, we just had to come back for another round of the 🇵🇭 Philippine Independence Day Commemoration at Auckland Showgrounds! ❤️💙💛

The energy, the performances, the food, the community… last year was honestly one for the books. Seeing everyone come together to celebrate Filipino culture made the long prep nights and early mornings so worth it. So this year, we’re jumping right back into the chaos because we want a piece of that action again 😆

And honestly… it feels like FOREVER since we’ve properly been out and about after the move 🥲

Dubai Chewy Cookies are officially back ✨

We’re still in the middle of unpacking, organising, and figuring out where half the baking tools disappeared to during the move, so custom cake orders will remain closed until after 6 June.

But the Dubai chewy cookie cravings? We can handle those again 🤍

Thank you for sticking with us through this new chapter. We’re slowly getting back into the swing of things, one batch at a time.
