Boho isn't just a cafe — it's a base for community of big-hearted people who love being part of what we do. People pour their heart and soul into everything we create here, including our little garden out front.
We have one fabulous volunteer — the BEST ever — who supplys plants and tends our wee garden, helping bring the Boho vibe street side, so everyone passing by can enjoy the vibrancy and creativity Boho brings to our little corner of the world.
So it's with real sadness that we write this post.
EarlyTuesday morning, someone stripped out most of the plants from that garden. This wasn't a random impulsive act, or a misguided prank from kids. This person came prepared, with a large black bag and a box, and for ten minutes methodically plucked and pulled until the garden that has been so lovingly tended was almost bare. And quite unbelievably, they carried on — hanging around, looking at different areas, for quite some time in the process.
We could see you, and your car, quite clearly on our cameras. So we'd respectfully ask that you don't take from us again.
We will replant — just not for a wee while.
In the meantime, to whoever took our plants: we hope they bring you as much joy as they've brought our community.
