As we approach 6 years in business, I just want to take a moment to sincerely thank every single person who has supported us throughout this journey. Your love, support and encouragement have meant more to me than I can put into words, and I truly hope you will continue to stand by us in the years ahead.

For those who know me, you know that family always comes first for me. Every couple of years, we try to take a little time away from the business to visit our family. Life is not just about work and business - sometimes, you simply need to be there for the people you love, especially when they need you the most.

With that in mind, we have decided to take our next annual break from 27 September to 23 October. We will be back on 24 October, fully refreshed, recharged and ready to head into the busy Christmas season.

I won't hide the fact that taking almost a month away will have a financial impact on the business. But sometimes, you have to make decisions with your heart, not just your business head. Family is something you can never put a price on.

We have built Ruchi with passion, hard work and, most importantly, with the support of our amazing customers and community. I know we can work hard and get things back on track when we return.

When you run a business with passion and love, it never feels like a chore. A busy restaurant is not a hard job when you see happy faces and people enjoying good food.

Great food brings people through the door, but turning them into regular customers is a true blessing. That only happens when you combine amazing food with genuine care and exceptional service.

I’m proud to say that I remember most of the people who have visited Ruchi and love welcoming them by name. Sometimes, we even remember their favourite dishes and drinks before they order.

That’s who we are at Ruchi - a team that values every guest and every connection we build.

We had a great night with the boys from Full Moon Curry in for their curry night!

Simon decided to take on our Spice Wall challenge - no prep, no plan - and somehow made it through the spiciest curry! 🌶️🔥 Fair play!
