Ancient Ways is the evolution of Marlborough natural wine label Native & Ancient, now led by local winemaker and artist Tom Flaherty.

The newly released 2025 Chardonnay comes from a BioGro-certified organic vineyard and is made with a low-intervention approach, including hand harvesting, wild fermentation in French oak, no filtration or fining, and minimal added sulphites.

Bright, intense and beautifully textured, it sits firmly in that Chablisian citrus spectrum with lemon, lime and grapefruit pith, layered with subtle minerality and natural richness. Aged French oak adds texture and weight without overpowering the fruit, resulting in a Chardonnay with freshness, precision and plenty of length.

Our 2025 La Famille Chablis AOC is sourced directly from Domaine Chatelain, who have been producing Chablis since 1955. Classic Chablis through and through, with white flowers, Granny Smith apple, lime, oyster shell and seaspray, plus plenty of freshness and minerality.

The 2023 Terroir Project Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Rose Family Vineyard in Marlborough’s Omaka Valley. Certified organic and grown on ancient alluvial soils, it has all the things we love about great Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc: bright aromatics, fresh citrus and tropical fruit, minerality and a long, juicy finish. It also picked up 94 points from Raymond Chan Wine Reviews.

At $7.50 a bottle in a case of 12, it’s a pretty good example of just how much the Terroir Project range overdelivers on price and quality.

Terroir Project is our range of 'house' wines built around one simple idea: find great vineyards across New Zealand and Australia, work directly with the growers to eliminate margins and get great value, and ultimately, let the quality of the wines do the heavy lifting.

Our recently released 2025 Shiraz comes from McLaren Vale in South Australia. Grown on terra rossa loam over limestone and deep black sand soils, the wine is bright, deep and spicy. Flavours of blackberry, plum and black cherry. Nuances of chocolate, pink pepper and clove. This wine is rich in flavour with soft, velvety tannins.

The 2025 Shiraz is a great example of how consistent the Terroir Project range is, and just how much it overdelivers on price and quality. We'd challenge you to find another wine at $8.33 a bottle like it.

The 2025 La Tonnelle Rosé comes from Alpes de Haute Provence, in the mountainous foothills around an hour inland from the Provence coastline.

Grown at around 700 metres on clay and limestone soils, the higher altitude and cool alpine breezes give this rosé its pale colour, freshness and elegance. A blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault, it is dry, crisp and mineral-driven, with strawberry, raspberry, white peach and wild French herb notes.

Elegant, fresh and mineral, with white flowers, Granny Smith apple, lime, oyster shell and seaspray. Made from Chardonnay grown on classic Kimmeridgian clay and limestone soils, then aged on fine lees for added texture and mouthfeel.

By working directly with the grower, importing in volume and selling directly to you, we can offer proper Chablis AOC at a much sharper price.
