This week celebrates all the volunteers in our community, and we want to say a huge "Thank You!" to our coordinators who dedicate hours a month to running our Toy Library. Despite being affiliated with Plunket, we are 💯 percent volunteer run and without them, we wouldn't be able to open.

This year, the theme of national volunteer week is "Your Year to Volunteer – Tōu tau ki te tūao". If you are interested in helping out as a coordinator for a few hours every couple of months please get in touch! Every hand that helps makes it an easy job for everyone else!

Thanks to our fundraising efforts, we have some new toys coming into the toy library over the next couple of months! Here are some toys for keen gardeners - a trimmer and lawnmower!

Today is World Play Day!

Thanks to our members, friends, families and community who supported our sausage sizzle this past weekend. It was really successful and we look forward to getting some new toys for the library in the next couple of months! From our funding grant from the McCarthy Trust we were able to purchase a second mini trampoline as our first one is so popular! Now it should be easier to get on the reserve list!
