Hi fellow chicken lovers.

Quick update for any pre orders.

At the moment the season is starting slowly for us.
Eggs are being produced but fertility isn’t great for selling fertile eggs.

Low fertility means no chicks to sell from the test batches.

No chicks means no pullets until we get the fertility rates up.

Please be patient in this time of frustration for all.

We thank you for your patience and hope to get orders fulfilled as soon as nature allows it.

Thanks
Orr-iginal Chickens

2 Plymouth barred rock hens.
1 season of laying.
Awesome hardy breed. Dual purpose. Meaning meat and eggs.

These have many years left in them with some heritage breeds can live upto 10 years. While laying until about 7-8 years.

These are a great breed to start a back yard flock.

Please enquire if interested.

Here is a list of all the breeds and prices. All prices a subject to change at our discretion. These prices reflect the time it takes to produce quality birds.

It does cost a bit to raise birds to pullets and then hatch their offspring.

We ask that if these prices don’t align with your budget that you please go else where.

We are taking pre orders now!

Thank you

We had an amazing time this weekend. Our birds did amazingly.

Best heavy breed, best Orpington, Best black Orpington.
Our amazing pullet pulled it off this time.

We also managed
best a Wyandotte Bantam.
Our little pullet was excellent.

Couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

The Nelson Poultry and Pigeon Association did an incredible job everything went so smoothly. The place also looked amazing. Down to the details here. Well done to the team. Thank you 🙏.

If you are interested in showing birds but are unsure of how to, please contact us and we can help you get started.

Purebred Houdan cockerel available

For breeding home or pet. Not for the pot.

The one in the picture is the sweetest boy he loves to be picked up. And loves cuddles.

Unfortunately we don’t have a capacity to carry on with this breed. So we have to say goodbye to disco. He has a brother if you want the pair.

If you want something for the pot please ask we have many others suitable for this.

Located Motueka Valley Highway, Ngatimoti.
