⚡Did Last Night's Lightning Storm Hit Closer Than You Think?⚡

After the incredible lightning storm that rolled through the region last night, now is a great time to check the surge protectors on your UV systems, pumps, control panels, and other electrical equipment.

A nearby lightning strike doesn't need to hit your property directly to cause damage. Power surges can travel through electrical networks and potentially damage surge protection devices while protecting your valuable equipment.

🔍 Things to check:
• Surge protectors on UV units
• Pump controllers and electrical panels
• Any surge protection devices connected to critical water system equipment
• Warning indicators or fault lights showing on surge protection units

In many cases, a surge protector may sacrifice itself to protect the equipment behind it. If your surge protector has been triggered or damaged, it may need replacing to ensure your system remains protected from future events.
