Hope everyone is enjoying and making the most of this warmer weather 🌞 This week is our second to last week of cooking 😢🥰, we have already sold out of Hangi for next week so this is your last chance to place orders for our kai.

Yess its official we are closing our doors!! We have had such a lovely time sharing all our kai over the past year and a bit so we want to have 1 last cook for the month of September!

Kia ora e te whānau,

We have some pretty sad news today, we are sorry to announce that September will be our final month of cooking in The Humble Home Cook kitchen.
- The main reason for this is the rising cost of kai which is making pricing our meals very difficult (we always wanted our kai to be high quality but at the same time affordable)
- The date/timing of our closure is due to our kai license expiring next month and we are not in a position to renew everything as we would have hoped
- We have some personal goals we are working towards as a whānau and need to pour our time and energy into these

Its super tough out there as many of you have seen with small businesses closing their doors for various reasons so we are sad but also optimistic for the future ❤️

With all of that being said we will still go away and rethink our pakihi, take some time to reflect and gather our ideas/vision so that we can go ALL IN when the time is right. We are not sure what that timeframe is but just know we are not hanging up our aprons for good, just taking a breather. We've been doing our day to day mahi as well as running this pakihi on the side so will be nice to just focus on mahi and our whānau, we hope each and every one of you know how hard this decision has been for us to make.

If you were wanting to get in touch our page is still open to you all, so any burning questions or queries you're welcome to ask away in the dms!

Again we thank each and every one of you who has purchased kai from us, we are always humbled by everyones support, shares and feedback, big mihi from our whānau to yours and we WILL see you in the future ❤️

Just letting all our amazing customers know that we are CLOSED for the month of July 2023. Just taking a much needed break from our small pakihi to focus on other mahi and our whānau. Don't worry though, we will be back making our Friday Lunches in August (menu to come late July 👀).
