It is very timely that on the eve of World Environment Day we can announce that Lothlorian has been working hard behind the scenes and have just received Toitū Enviromark Gold certification of our Environmental Management System (EMS). This certification recognises our high level of environmental commitment and performance. It goes beyond compliance, helping us set and achieve ambitious environmental goals. To achieve this certification we had to develop and implement a comprehensive Environmental Management System (EMS), measure our environmental impacts and commit to continuous improvement. We are a company of “doers” so writing all of this down was something of a challenge! Participating in the Toitū Enviromark programme allows Lothlorian to be more structured and transparent in our commitment to doing the right thing for our people, our community and our planet.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone at Lothlorian Knitwear for your hard work and passion in protecting our environment. Together, we are making a meaningful impact.
But we’re not stopping here! We’re already setting our sights on achieving Diamond Level in the coming year. Stay tuned for more updates on our sustainability journey.
