Cook/ Kitchen Hand wanted immediately. Some kitchen experience required. Casual contract 25 - 35 hours - weekends required but no night shifts. Great work environment and team. We’re looking for a reliable Cook/Baker and a Kitchen Hand / Server to join our team at The Church.

These are casual, part-time roles (24 to 30 hours per week including weekends) with daytime hours only - perfect if you’re after flexible hospitality work in a pretty special spot in Gibbston.

We’re after someone with a bit of hospitality experience who’s reliable, friendly and enjoys being part of a team. You’ll be happy helping out wherever needed, from the kitchen to front of house.

You’ll need a valid NZ work visa (sorry, we’re unable to offer sponsorship), plus reliable accommodation and transport as we’re based in Gibbston.

Casual Part-Time All-Rounder and Kitchen Hand Wanted (2 positions)
Join the Team at The Church Cellar Door & Café – Gibbston Valley
We're looking for friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Casual Part-Time staff to join our team in one of the most beautiful settings in the Queenstown region.
This is a varied role that includes both front-of-house customer service and kitchen support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and being part of a small, supportive team.

What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a café, restaurant, bar, w**ery, or hospitality environment.
Strong English communication skills.
A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and comfortable working in a busy environment, particularly during the summer season.
Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
A valid New Zealand work visa (please note that sponsorship and accommodation are not available).
Reliable transportation, as we are located in the Gibbston Valley.
