Laughing Owl has landed at Old Courthouse Eatery!
A little history, a little character, and now a little Laughing Owl Wh**ky.
Originally built in 1903, Levin's historic courthouse has stood for more than 120 years. Once a place of law and order, the beautifully restored building now sits among the Nola Simpson Rose Gardens, where it has found a new lease on life as the Old Courthouse Eatery.
It's a story that feels close to our own.
Inspired by New Zealand's extinct Laughing Owl, our Reawakening Single Malt is about honouring the past while embracing something new.
Crafted with New Zealand Mānuka and American oak, Reawakening delivers aromas of caramel, vanilla and spiced orchard fruit, followed by honeyed malt, silky tannins and a gentle herbal warmth. A smooth, rich finish with refined oak completes the experience.
We're delighted to see Laughing Owl become part of this historic setting at Old Court House Eatery Old Courthouse Eatery, alongside the team at Wag & Co. W**e Distribution, where good food, great hospitality and a little history come together.
If you're in Levin, make sure you pay them a visit!
Two legacies. A new chapter.
