Methven Dairies Methven Dairies is a 398ha dairy operation near Methven, New Zealand. Managed by Trevor and Stacey Milk is supplied to the Fonterra cooperative.

Partners John and Jane Wright, Trevor and Stacey Monson and the Methven Motors Group converted the 360 ha irrigated arable farm for the 2012 milking season. The farm has two 60 bale rotary sheds to milk 1500 cows utilising the latest Milfos automation technology. Seven centre pivot irrigators and fixed corner sprinklers use Barrhill Chertsey Irrigation water to provide reliable grass growth over the entire effective area.

Methven Dairies is looking for a reliable, hardworking person with a great attitude to help rear our 450 replacements, plus sale calves and bobbies.
We run a twice a day feeding system with excellent facilities and good systems in place for efficient feeding.
You will be working with experienced calf rearers who are passionate about raising healthy, happy calves.
Experience would be an advantage but not essential as training is provided.
The roster is 5:2. Hours are 8.00am-4.30pm (approx.) from 1 Aug to 1 Oct 2021.
You must have a valid driver's license and a current Visa.
